1. Which syllabus is followed at Clarus International School?

  • An integrated approach using a blend of Montessori and Kindergarten styles for the pre-primary.
  • CBSE Curriculum for Grades 1 to 8.

2. How are academics different in Clarus?

  • At the Pre-primary level, students are trained on various skills to enable them to have a smooth transition when they start regular schooling.
  • Grades 1 to 5 curriculum is interwoven with trans-disciplinary themes.
  • Grades 6 to 8 have an integrated approach to enable students to achieve concept mastery.

3. What are the language options given?

  • Grades 1 to 8: 2nd language Kannada and Hindi are mandatory.

4. What are the extracurricular activities provided at Clarus?

  • Pre-Primary: Sports, Yoga, Nature walk, Field trips.
  • Primary & Secondary: Sports, Yoga, Music, Club activities, Life skills, Fun with Math, Applied Academics.

5. What are the external exams conducted at Clarus?

  • Subject-specific Olympiads, Spell Bee.

6. How will the parent know about their child’s progress?

Regular parent interaction with teachers and coordinators is conducted to keep the parent informed about the child’s progress. Need-based interactions are also encouraged with prior appointments. A detailed progress report of the child’s performance is shared after every term.

7. What are the different sports activities conducted in the school?

  • Outdoor: Basketball, Football, Skating, Yoga, Throw ball.
  • Indoor: Chess, Carom.

1. What are the school timings?

  • Pre-primary: 8:55 am to 1:00 pm (Snack break: 15 minutes )
  • Primary & Secondary: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (Snack break: 15 minutes
    Lunch break: 30 minutes)

2. Does the school work on Saturdays for students?

No

3. What is the student-teacher ratio in each class?

  • Pre-primary: 1:15
  • Grade 1 & Above: 1:25

4. What is the mode of payment to school?

Payments are accepted only through cash and online transfer.

5. Is the Admission Fee refundable?

We are waiving off the admission fee for the academic year 2025-26.

6. When does the session start?

The session starts in June and continues till March-end.

7. What is the mode of communication with parents?

  • All the information regarding the student will be available on the parent portal.
  • Regular announcements and circulars are sent through the parent portal.
  • Parents can send mail or contact the Admin office.

8. Does Clarus have branches?

No, Clarus does not have any branches.

9. Do you have a canteen facility?

No

10. Does the school have a day care facility?

FAQ - Admissions



1. When does the Admission begin every year?

New Admission starts from October of each year, which will be updated on the website.

2. What is the Admission Process?

  • Go to Website: www.clarusschool.in
  • Visit the school campus.
  • Click on Admission.
  • Apply Online / Offline.
  • Assessment/Interaction (will be conducted in the school campus).
  • Application Processing.
  • Pay Rs 10,000 Tuition fee to block the seat within five working days from the date of intimation to complete the Admission Process.

3. What happens if the Admission is not completed within the stipulated time?

The seat will be allocated to the next student from the waiting list.

4. What is the selection criteria?

  • 3 Years and above as of 1st June 2025 for Pre-primary 1.
  • 4 Years and above as of 31st May 2025 for Pre-primary 2.
  • Grade 1 to Grade 8: Based on assessment performance and seat availability.
  • First Preference for siblings.

5. What kind of Assessment will be done?

A diagnostic assessment will be conducted to test the academic level of the student.

  • PP-1, PP-2: English, Mathematics & EVS (Oral & Writing); interview with parents & students.
  • PP-3: English, Mathematics & EVS (Oral & Writing); interview with parents & students.
  • Grade 1: English (Written & Reading), EVS, Kannada, Mathematics.
  • Grade 2 to 3: English (Written & Reading), Hindi, Kannada, Mathematics and EVS.
  • Grade 4 & 5: English, Hindi, Kannada, Mathematics, and Science.
  • Grade 6 to 8: English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi & Kannada.

Selected students will be intimated by mail within five working days from the date of Assessment.

6. What are the Mandatory documents required at the time of Admission?

  • Copy of Birth Certificate.
  • Copy of Aadhar card (Both Parent & Students).
  • Original TC from the previous school (applicable from Grade 2 Onwards).
  • Previous School copy of marks card and Study certificate.
  • Passport size photographs:
    • Student: 3 photos.
    • Parent: 1 photo.


7. Is the Admission fee refundable?

The Admission fee is waived off for the academic year 2025-26.
